Great video. Based on my formal education, I would never admit to watching this video but this is the first time I have intuitively understood the meaning of "least square regression". Many years after finishing your formal education, its a good idea to go back and review concepts. I use regression all the time in practice but rely so heavily on software that I forgot the equations and what they are functionally doing. Thanks.

Hello Eddie, I'm a maths teacher and have greatly enjoyed your videos which have been great as I've been able to enthuse my students with maths. Thank you. I'm still not clear about some probability questions where order matters. For example, the question: I have 2 children. One of them is a boy. What is the probability that other is a boy. In this question, does order matter and why? Thanks. Vineeta

0! = It proves that the rules of mathematics came through experimentation as well as through logic otherwise 0! = 1 is not logical at all, but it is the exception to the rule

Great video! My only problem would be that you kind of sweeped negative numbers under the rug, but I guess it's not hard to expand this for negative numbers. You only really have to change the sign of the numerator, and start the diagonal on the left. You also avoid the denominator = 0 problem.

Great tutorial sir. At 19:32 the inequality should be "≤" because 1< [lim x->0 (x/sin x)] <1 suggests that 1<1, which is incorrect.

In India, we had the BODMAS rule which is brackets of/orders (square roots or powers) division, multiplication, addition , subtraction. That'd mean B/brackets precedes divison and so on. =6/2*3=6/6=1

According to an article published in May 2024, any number can be divided by zero with a simple elementary school-level operation. According to the article, the operation 50/0 is performed as follows: 50 / 0 = 0 A( 50 ) (A is the exponent above the parenthesis, but unfortunately I couldn't write it here). In this operation, the zero after the equal sign is the value of the quotient and A(50) is the remainder. The proof of this operation is as follows: 50 / 0 = 0 A( 50 ) 50 = 0 x 0 A( 50 ) 50 = ( 0 x 0 ) + 50 50 = 0 + 50 50 = 50 This article examines this issue in detail. It also tries to refute one by one the explanations of why a number cannot be divided by zero. For those interested, information about the articles is below: 1.Article Information Article Title: The problems created by zero in the division operation, their reasons and an attempt at a solution Article Address: www.academia.edu/118447190/The_problems_created_by_zero_in_the_division_operation_their_reasons_and_an_attempt_at_a_solution_S%C4%B1f%C4%B1r%C4%B1n_b%C3%B6lme_i%C5%9Fleminde_olu%C5%9Fturdu%C4%9Fu_sorunlar_nedenleri_ve_%C3%A7%C3%B6z%C3%BCme_y%C3%B6nelik_bir_deneme_%C3%A7al%C4%B1%C5%9Fmas%C4%B1 2.Article Information Article Title: A study to prove that the denominator can be zero in fractional numbers Article Address: www.academia.edu/118448116/A_study_to_prove_that_the_denominator_can_be_zero_in_fractional_numbers_Kesirli_say%C4%B1larda_paydan%C4%B1n_s%C4%B1f%C4%B1r_olabilece%C4%9Fini_kan%C4%B1tlamaya_y%C3%B6nelik_bir_%C3%A7al%C4%B1%C5%9Fma&nav_from=a54f476f-5cf7-4264-ab57-7383abc3d91f&rw_pos=0 (This article has been translated into English with a translation program.)

I love numbers and yearned to be a high school math teacher but school officials, particularly the DOE, discouraged me as much as they could (without making it look so obvious) from chasing my dream. I also recall CUNY guidance counselors discouraging me from pursuing my academic objectives. This was all done in an effort to keep certain minorities from reaching success and job security. The New York City DOE is the definition of toxicity. So, I did others things with my life. Now at 59 years old with three (not boasting) college degrees, I find myself working as a security guard making peanuts for a living in a dead-end job with no pension, no benefits, a simple but confusing 401k (knowledge of the stock market is needed), and the list goes on and on. How about that for a story?

    3² is not 3 × 3. 3² is 1 × 3 × 3. Because every number is (1 × that number). So 3 = 1 × 3. And 3⁰ = 1 × what? There must be 3 zero times. So there is no 3. It is just 3⁰ = 1. 0⁰ = 1 because every number is (1 × that number). Even zero. 0 = 1 × 0. And 0⁰ = 1 × what? There must be 0 zero times. So there is no 0. It is just 0⁰ = 1.

I always thought the irregular quadrilateral is on the top even though it connects to the kite(left), the trapezoid(the right) and the parallelogram(the middle). The parallelogram connects to the rectangle(right),the rhombus(left),and both connects to the square(the bottom). The rhombus is also a special type of kite because consecutive sides are congruent, and they're orthogonal(diagonals are perpendicular). You also skipped the isosceles and right trapezoid.
